What activities can be done? Koh Kong Chi Phat - Community Tour attraction & Activities Excursions

Chi Phat has much to offer the adventurous travellers or tourists, as well as those who want more gentle excursions in and around a traditional Cambodian village.

You can trek or mountainbike to explore the village or the deep forest. Early starters can bird-watch from a traditional rowing boat on the misty river. At seasonal waterholes you can search for wildlife signs at dawn, noon and dusk. Halloween fans can venture into bat caves and ancient burial sites. The most intrepid trekkers can patrol with our forest rangers, going far off the beaten track. Leave a life-long souvenir of your visit when you plant a tree at the Million Tree Nursery. Those who like to stay close to home can swim at waterfalls, fish for lobsters at night, and learn to cook traditional Khmer food.
Our excursions are listed below in groups such as Trekking, Hard grades, or Good for young people. Many excursions appear in more than one category.
You do not need to book your activities in advance. Most activities are available most of the time. You can choose your activity, and join up with others, when you arrive. This does not commit you to taking the tour, but helps us tell other guests what tours are planned, so they can join up. Trekking in a group is cheaper (and more fun) than trekking alone, reducing prices for everybody.
